What Centaurus is

Centaurus is a free site about tarot, astrology and numerology for people who are just starting out. We explain each topic in plain English, add free tools you can try, and say honestly what these traditions can and cannot do.

Our one-line promise: useful, friendly and honest. We treat tarot and astrology as tools for reflection and enjoyment, never as predictions.

Our promises to you

1. We are honest about the limits

Tarot, astrology and numerology are symbolic traditions, not science. Studies have not shown that they predict events or personality. Every page says so, in plain words.

2. We keep it in plain English

No jargon without an explanation. If a word is needed, we define it.

3. Our tools are free and respect your privacy

Our calculators and finders are free, with no sign-up. Our newer tools, such as the age calculator and sign finder, run in your browser. The dates you type in are not saved or sent to us. See our privacy policy.

4. We are clear about money

We earn money from ads and affiliate links. We say where, and our book and deck lists are ordered by who they suit, not by what pays more. See the affiliate disclosure.

5. We fix our mistakes

When we find an error, we correct it and update the page date. For example, in October 2026 we corrected wrong authors and dates on several book pages. Spotted something? Tell us on the contact page.

How we make a page

1. ResearchWe check titles, dates and facts against reliable sources.
2. WriteWe write in plain English and mark what is tradition and what is fact.
3. TestWe test each tool and check pages on phones and computers.
4. Date and updateEvery page shows when it was updated, and lists its sources.

No. Tarot, astrology and numerology are traditions for reflection. We say clearly on our pages that none of them can predict the future.

How do you make money?

Through ads (Google AdSense) and affiliate links, mostly to books and decks on Amazon. Affiliate links never change your price. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.

Are your tools free?

Yes. Our calculators, finders and readings are free to use, and you do not need to sign up.

What if I find a mistake?

Tell us on the contact page. We check every report and fix errors, and we update the date on the page.

Did you find what you came for?

Astrology and tarot are tools for reflection and entertainment. They cannot predict the future and are not a substitute for professional medical, legal or financial advice.
